Hmmm... what a start to 2008. If you are following the news, you would have heard of these people's deaths...


1. Jimmy Nah, 39, Singaporean comedian, died on Jan. 4. (Not sure how he died)


2. Mary Marques, 111, American supercentenarian, Massachusetts' oldest person, died in her sleep on Jan. 4. (aiyo... so close to 120)


3. Jana Shearer, 21, murdered by her boyfriend on Jan. 5. She was cut into parts and cooked (boiled). YUCKS! How weird can this world get???


4. Robert Chandran, 57, Singaporean CEO of Chemoil, died in a helicopter crash on Jan. 7.


5. Dr. Judah Folkman of Harvard University' s School of Medicine, a groundbreaking cancer researcher whose work cured the disease in mice and gave hope for a cure in humans, died late Monday, Jan. 14. He was 74.


6. Bobby Fischer, 64, American chess grandmaster, world champion (1972–1975), died of kidney failure on January 17.


7. Heath Ledger - found dead inside his apartment Tuesday, January 22. He was 28.


8. Megat Junid Megat Ayub, 65, Malaysian former cabinet minister, died of prostate cancer on January 24.


9. Suharto, 86, Indonesian President (1967–1998), died of multiple organ dysfunction syndrome on January 27.


10. Gordon B. Hinckley, 97, American President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, January 27. (YES!!! Ooppss... for those of you who don't know... TCJCLS is aka Mormon Church. Don't care what he died of... ooppss...)
